Individuals & Societies: What Makes a Good Leader?

Imagine you’re the leader of your school. Everyone listens to you. But do they respect you?

A good leader doesn’t just give orders — they:

✅ Listen carefully

✅ Act fairly

✅ Admit when they’re wrong

✅ Inspire others to do their best

💭 Think About This:

Would you rather be a popular leader or a respected one? Why?

🗣️ Drop your thoughts:

Who’s one real-life leader (past or present) that you admire?

Mathematics: The Math of Going Viral!

A video gets shared. One person sends it to 2 people. Each of those send it to 2 more…

That’s called exponential growth.

🔢 Try This:

If a video starts with 1 view and doubles every hour, how many views will it have after 5 hours?

(Hint: It’s not just 5 — it’s 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = ?)

💭 Challenge Question:

If this pattern continues, how many views in 10 hours?

Science: Why Can’t Humans Breathe Underwater?

Fish have gills that take oxygen from water. We have lungs that take oxygen from air.

Even though water has oxygen, our lungs can’t pull it out from the liquid — they need it as a gas.

💭 Think Deep:

What if humans evolved with gills? How would life on Earth be different?

🧪 Bonus Challenge:

Can you name one animal besides a fish that can breathe underwater?

📚

English: The Power of Metaphors

Metaphors make your writing richer.

Instead of saying: “He was very fast,”

Say: “He was a cheetah on a racetrack.” 🐆

💡 Metaphors = saying one thing is another, to create a strong image.

💭 Writing Prompt:

Write one metaphor about someone who is really smart — but don’t use the word “smart”!

📝 Example: “Her brain was a library filled with glowing ideas.”
